With Legal 500 UK published, and Chambers UK being published next week, you will now need to look at sharing the success with your key stakeholders.
Here are our tips on who to share the news with, and how, to best enhance your firm's reputation:
Firstly, and very importantly, include the results in your internal comms channels. A personal introductory message from someone in firm management will give lawyers and staff a 'feel good' factor and enhance brand loyalty. Make sure this message thanks all the staff for their hard work during the directories process.
Add the results to relevant email signatures.
Update your firm website – make sure you include the pages for each ranked practice and ranked lawyer as well as the main 'Awards and Rankings' section.
Push the news out on your firm's social media channels including LinkedIn, LinkedIn Elevate and Twitter.
Thank clients who agreed to be interviewed – this can act as a prompt for lawyers to contact clients with positive news and to touch base more generally.
Share the news with those responsible for pitching materials so that they can keep them up to date.
If you have achieved any Band 1 rankings and/or gain some great quotes, consider altering your relevant marketing approach to reflect these.
Reflect on your internal directories process for next year – you're on the right track so, apart from any small tweaks, you should be able to repeat it all again with few changes or extra work!
Remember you now have an up-to-date bank of information about your firm's successes that you can use for future PR purposes.
